Among these tidbits you will find 
chelonians of many kinds.
If they race, which would win?
Turtle, tortoise, or terrapin?

Myrtle, our painted turtle is fast
so I doubt she would come in last.
But on our dock tire for a landing,
I can't tell if she's sitting or standing!

Turtle, tortoise, terrapin
all wear an armored coat.
These chelonians are older than dinosaurs,
and their necks have a wrinkly throat.
