There was a toy store
Whose toys were hand made
Owned by a man
Who began in the toy trade.

He started with no experience
And with no training
The extent of his knowledge
Was in plywood staining.

To begin with
He was the only employee
Who did all the work?
It was only he.

He would walk door to door
Taking toy orders
These accumulated
So he hired some toy sorters. . . .
