for Celestial Beings Book
"Barbara Scherek's 'Celestial Beings of Heaven and Nature Meditation
Coloring Book' brings one to the sacred heart center, where the
hidden side of life reveals itself wondrously. I recommend it to
everyone."
- Marshall Govindan of Babji's Kriya Yoga and Publications, Quebec,
Canada
"The Heart - Center of the Being - is always chanting the pure,
primordial sound which also manifests in many colors. When the mind
is calm and drawn inwards, this sound is perceived as also the associated
colors. Each chakra has a Deva or deity who sits at the center with
hands in specific gestures called mudras. Meditative painting is
one of the many ways of accessing these sounds, colors and deity
visions. This visionary book by a young spiritually rich artist
is an innovative approach to create the necessary prerequisites
to make such an experience possible."
- T.M. Srinivasan, Ph.D., Founding Board Member and Past President,
International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy
Medicine, Phoenix, Arizona
"In her beautiful illustrations Barbara Scherek has brought together
the art and science of medicine, both East and West. Anyone using
her illustrations would find a truly spiritual connection with the
divine."
- Gladys T. McGarey, M.D., M.D. (H) Founding Board Member and
Past President of American Holistic Association, Scottsdale, Arizona
Customer Reviews for Celestial Beings Book
"'Celestial Beings of Heaven & Nature Mediation Coloring Book' is
a spiritual journey in itself. This exquisite book has been and
is my favorite gift for family and friends who need a spiritual
lift. It is a beautiful gift for anyone who wants to learn to meditate.
It is a thoughtful book one can return to time and time again and
always expect to find something new."
- Jo Anne Jones, Rehoboth Beach, DE, USA
"I have some heart issues to work on and this book is perfect for
me. I turn on some classical music and color whenever I have a half
hour block. Thank you Barbara!"
- Jana Barberio, Holly, MI, USA
"I highly recommend Barbara Scherek's 'Celestial Beings of Heaven
and Nature Meditation Coloring Book'. I color to relax and also
to let out the frustrated artist within. There are 13 illustrations
which represent the four elements of Fire, Air, Water and Earth
and correspond to the four quadrants of being which are the Spiritual,
Mental, Emotional and Physical. With this in mind, sitting down,
clearing my mind, and listening to soft music I created my own artwork
(with Barbara's help) using colored pencils. Each illustration took
me at least two hours to complete. That was two hours of relaxation,
with a bonus of getting in touch with my creative side. If you have
stress in your life this is a perfect outlet, even if you haven't
colored since you were a child."
- A reader from Philadelphia, PA, USA
"In her book 'Celestial Beings of Heaven and Nature Meditation Coloring
Book', Barbara's imaginative original designs are thought provoking
and captivating. Although some have mistaken her images as computer
generated drawings, their precision reflects the skill and meticulous
free hand acumen characteristic of Barbara's artistic style. They
enable one to enter into an extraordinary celestial world of coloring
playfulness while heartfully engaging the participant's total being.
Her book has the capacity to raise one's inner awareness to a level
commensurate with an expanded heart flame. Her images encourage
one to express a delicate colorful balance between one's inner and
outer realities. The 12 consecutive hand mudras depicted in her
images echo healing ordered gestures such as those found in Tai
Chi movements. And in a similar way they can be effective tools
for meditatively centering and balancing a person's energy forcefield.
In essence, coloring these illustrations can draw one into a still
meditation upon the ordered subtle energy flow of the heart to effect
positive changes in one's heart flame. It is truly an amazing book
that can be beneficial to anyone seeking to create more harmony
in their life."
